Art Battle® has produced more than 1,200 public events, hundreds of private and charity events, and dozens of high profile murals since 2001 – across the US and Canada, and around the world.
Ginette was thrilled to be this year's Art Battle Featured Artist at McKenzie College, Moncton.

Past Art Battle Champion (NB) and Competitor in the Art Battle Nationals, Ginette will be painting a large-scale canvas live from the Art Battle stage at this year's show in Moncton.

Ginette was thrilled to be the Featured Artist at the Saint John Regional Art Battle.

It's Five O'Clock Somewhere is the resulting painting of Saint John's famous downtown clock.
The piece was painted live during the art battle and sold to the highest bidder.

2017 ART BATTLE CHAMPION
A French Acadian artist from Moncton, Ginette Melanson’s artistic journey began painting highly rendered portraits and landscapes, she has since shifted to creating energetic and texture heavy works finding freedom of expression in the abstraction of all manner of subjects. Ginette uses knowledge of traditional techniques and composition to inform her now contemporary style so that no palette knife stroke is wasted. Competing against artists from across New Brunswick, Ginette emerged as the Champion who will represent in the 2017 Nationals.
